Virtually Inspired

I first came across the concept of virtual tours during my third year of college; we had a class on the history of architecture and design and I vaguely remember using a virtual tour as reference for an essay in a pinch (yes, I could have read the textbook I’m sure). Then came the pandemic and I (with much more enthusiasm) revisited these virtual tours as a way to soak in places familiar and new while cooped up with my newborn son. You might say I traveled more during those few months from the comfort of my living room than any other stretch of time— to the Louvre, to Frank Lloyd Wright’s properties, then to Barcelona for Mies van der Rohe.

As we slowly emerge from a winter of retreat, it felt apropos to share a few that are currently inspiring me.
